第四百七十七条　事業者は、伐木の作業を行なうときは、立木を伐倒しようとする労働者に、それぞれの立木について、次の事項を行なわせなければならない。ただし、油圧式伐倒機を使用するときは、第一号及び第三号の規定は、適用しない。

Article 477 (1) The employer shall, when carrying out the work of tree felling, have the worker intended to engage in the felling of standing trees carry out the following matters for each tree. ２　事業者は、伐木の作業を行なう場合において、当該立木の伐倒の作業に従事する労働者以外の労働者（以下本条において「他の労働者」という。）に、伐倒により危険を生ずるおそれのあるときは、当該立木の伐倒の作業に従事する労働者に、あらかじめ、前項の合図を行なわせ、他の労働者が避難したことを確認させた後でなければ、伐倒させてはならない。
