語源
From Anglo-Norman aschever, Middle French achever, achiever et al., apparently from Late Latin *accappō, from ad (“to”) + caput (“head”) + -ō (verbal suffix). Compare Catalan, Occitan, Portuguese and Spanish acabar, French achever.
