During the mediation conference, the Mediator shall encourage the parties to arrive at a fair and mutually beneficial compromise that will resolve the dispute. The Mediator shall explain the mediation proceedings stressing the benefits of an early settlement of the dispute and shall attempt immediate settlement. If no settlement is reached, another session shall be set within ten days therefrom to consider various options proposed by the Mediator to resolve the dispute.
