Ashmoor Hockey Clubとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Ashmoor hockey Club was formed in 2003 and is based primarily in Ashburton, Devon. Due to issues with the 3G astro pitch they played home games on the club recently moved to playing their league games at Isca College, Exeter. They play in purple, green and white hooped socks, white shorts, and purple shirts. Ashmoor has established itself as a very strong team in Devon as well as a dominant force regionally and nationally. The Mens 1st team (formed when the club was established) has risen the equivalent of 8 divisions in their 7 seasons as a team winning 3 leagues and finishing strongly in the other seasons. The recently formed Ladies team comfortably won Channel 2B in their first season as a team. The majority of Ashmoor's success however comes from their junior teams. Different age groups have competed at numerous county, regional and national tournaments and finals throughout the 7 years of the club's creation, both indoor and outdoor. The most notable successes have been the 5 National Indoor appearances and the National U15 Plate run that took them to a closely contested final showdown with Teddington Hockey Club (the oldest club in the world), unfortunately losing out 3 - 0. Many players have represented Devon county sides and West of England teams as well as 2 players making the full England Junior squads, a number the Wales squads, and 6 being selected for the UK Lions. A lot of Ashmoor's success goes down to the quality coaching that junior and senior players receive and also the real 'community and family atmosphere' that the club is well renowned for.
