Article 31 As for the case of limitation of liability, if Tanker Oil Pollution Damage occurred in Japan, the case shall belong exclusively to the jurisdiction of the district court which has jurisdiction for the place where the said Tanker Oil Pollution Damage occurred, and if Tanker Oil Pollution Damage occurred in Japanese Exclusive Economic Zone, the case shall belong exclusively to the jurisdiction of the district court which has jurisdiction for the general venue of the Claimant of the Limited Claim or, if there is no such court, belong exclusively to the jurisdiction of the district court determined by the Supreme Court. If the measures prescribed in item 6.(b) of Article 2 for the purpose of preventing the damage in Japan or in Japanese Exclusive Economic Zone are taken outside Japan or Japanese Exclusive Economic Zone and the damage did not occur in Japan and in Japanese Exclusive Economic Zone, the case shall belong exclusively to the jurisdiction of the district court which has jurisdiction for the general venue of the person who took the measures or, if there is no such court, belong exclusively to the jurisdiction of the district court determined by the Supreme Court.発音を聞く 例文帳に追加
