Vile Imbeciles are an alternative rock band from Brighton & Hove, England. In their current incarnation they consist of Andy Huxley (guitar/vocals), Caspian Rospigliosi (guitar/vocals), Evan Reinhold (drums/vocals), Deen Lim (bass/vocals) and Liam John Dowling (guitar/synthesizer/vocals). The band's sound - at times bordering on avant-garde - has earned them a reputation as a culturally significant group, winning them both critical acclaim and fierce opposition from the UK music press. Formed in 2005, the band's career has been one of continual redefinition characterised typically by line-up changes, and an unpredictable musical direction.
