本発明は、ネットワーク・ノードと、該ネットワーク・ノードのすべてに分散したソフトウェア・システム（１７）と、を有する家庭範囲のネットワークに関し、上記ソフトウェア・システム（１７）は、該ネットワークの実機に対して該ネットワークにおけるすべてのメモリ装置（１、６、７、９）の状態を管理する仮想メモリ装置（１８）と呼ばれる均一なソフトウェア抽象概念を有する。 - 特許庁
