  • In this document summarization method and system, in automatically summarizing a document, the structural characteristics of the document are grasped to be structured according to a fixed rule, and then a pattern frequently occurring in the structured paragraph of the document is extracted to automatically summarize the document using natural language processing (NLP) technology such as rhetorical structure information on the document, paragraph division of document level, and word cooccurrence information.
