つまり、保証温度外となるような極低温の環境下においては、乗員検知機能を作動禁止にしているが、車室内温度が保証温度まで上昇していない状態であっても、シートヒータ等を作動させることによって、そのセンサ自体もしくはその周囲の温度を暖めることができ、十分に乗員検知機能を働かせることができるようになる。 - 特許庁
