intY is a UK based supplier of secure Internet and messaging solutions for email, web and mobile platforms, supplying in excess of 3,000 organizations. Still a private company, intY was formed over 11 years ago and initially focused on developing the Open Source ExoServer secure appliance, sold largely to SME and education customers. It was also one of the earliest UK vendors to deploy a hosted email scanning service delivering anti-spam and anti-virus protection from 1999 and with MailDefender launched as a stand-alone product in 2003.
