Brandeston is a village in Suffolk, England on the River Deben. 'Brandeston Hall', the largest building in the village, is now the preparatory department of nearby Framlingham College. It was largely destroyed in a fire between the Wars and rebuilt. Other buildings in the village are the Queen's Head pub which is currently run by local man Greg Lochhead along with the mediaeval parish church of All Saints. Brandeston recently won an accolade in the recent 'UK Top 10 Inbred Villages Awards 2010' coming in a solid second place.
