Bryan Stone (born 1959) is a systematic and practical theologian who specializes in research related to evangelism and congregational development, theology and film, urban and multicultural ministry, and the theology of John Wesley. Dr. Stone holds a PhD from Southern Methodist University, an MDiv from the Nazarene Theological Seminary and a BA from Southern Nazarene University. He was ordained and has served as a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. He co-founded "Liberation Community," a multicultural congregation and faith-based non-profit, and served there as pastor and executive director from 1985-1992. He served as professor of Practical Theology at Azusa Pacific University from 1993-1998. He is currently the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the James K. and Eunice Matthews Chair, an E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism at Boston University School of Theology.
