引用: Chinary Ung (b. November 24, 1942, Takéo, Cambodia) is a composer now living in the United States. After arriving in the United States in 1964 to study the clarinet, Ung studied composition with Chou Wen-chung and Mario Davidovsky. Ung is noted for combining traditional Cambodian musical elements with western instrumentation. Ung currently teaches at the University of California, San Diego. In October, 2007, the Del Sol String Quartet was invited to play the Library of Congress' collection of Stradivarius instruments and debut the world premiere of Chinary Ung 's Spiral X.
