引用: Douglas A. Shields represents the 5th Council District in the City of Pittsburgh. He has served on Pittsburgh City Council since January of 2004, also serving as Pittsburgh City Council President from 2008 to 2010. Included in the 5th District are the neighborhoods of Glenn Hazel, Greenfield, Hays, New Homestead, Hazelwood, Lincoln Place, Point Breeze, Swisshelm Park, the southern half of Squirrel Hill and parts of Regent Square. Before serving on Pittsburgh City Council, he served as Chief of Staff for 11 years to the late mayor Bob O'Connor during O’Connor’s tenure on Pittsburgh City Council.
