Harry Varley (born 25 November 1867 in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire — died 21 November 1915 in Oldham, Lancashire) was a rugby union and professional rugby union footballer of the 1890s who at representative level played rugby union (RU) for England, and at club level for Liversedge, playing Scrum-half, i.e. number 9, and at club level played rugby league (RL) for Oldham, playing at Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 6, or, 7, alongside Arthur Lees from 1895. Prior to 29 August 1895, Liversedge was a rugby union club.
