Judith Ann Kathleen Howard, CBE, FRS, (born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire) is a distinguished British chemist, crystallographer and Professor at Durham University. She graduated from University of Bristol with a B.Sc. and worked at the University of Oxford as a postgraduate student in Dorothy Hodgkin's group. She married David Howard. She was awarded a Doctor of Science degree at the University of Bristol in 1986. According to the Web of Science she has co-authored over 1,500 scientific publications, resulting in a H-index of 78.
