引用: Koenigsberg observatory was an astronomical research facility, which was attached to the Albertina University of Königsberg. Astronomers working on her major, such as Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel, Friedrich Wilhelm Argelander and Arthur Auwers. In 1838, for first time, the parallax of a star was determined successfully, by Bessel using a heliometer (see Stellar parallax). In 1851 - the first complete snapshot of the solar eclipse. Destroyed by Royal Air Force bombs in 1944 during Second World War.
