Leyfields is a council estate in Tamworth, Staffordshire, consisting of 3-storey flats, maisonettes and bungalows and houses. It was built in the 1960s as a postwar housing estate. It is built joining the Gillway estate, Claremont Road estate and Coton Green. The Estate had a reputation of being rough and drug dealers were a problem on there, incidents such as arson e.g setting fire to the flats and often cars, people getting assaulted was another problem but all this has mostly stopped now.
