引用: Low Fell is a suburb of Gateshead, England. It is bordered by Sheriff Hill/Deckham to the East, Saltwell/Bensham to the West, Harlow Green to the South and Shipcote to the North. Its approach from the south is "guarded" by the Angel of the North. It is located close to the A1 giving easy access to the motorway network. The area is a relatively affluent one, very popular for young couples starting families, and has a large percentage of elderly people. Politically, inner Low Fell tends to lean towards the Liberal Democrats in local elections, while areas on the periphery traditionally support the Labour Party. The Labour Party, however, remains the dominant force in local politics.
