A meshrep (Uyghur: مەشرەپ) is a traditional Uyghur and Central Asian social group, connected to the celebration of the autumn harvest festival. Traditionally formed of men, these groups traditionally formed part of the informal governance structure of Uyghur communities, and still serve this function outside of China.
