The New Covenant (Hebrew: ברית חדשה, berit ḥadasha (help·info) ; Greek: διαθήκη καινή, diathēkē kainē) is a concept derived from the Hebrew Bible. The mere term "New Covenant" is used both in the Hebrew Bible and the Christian New Testament to refer to a Messianic Age or World to Come. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant.
