The Ruby Pipeline is a proposed 42-inch (1,100 mm) natural gas pipeline that would run from Opal in western Wyoming, to Malin, Oregon. The planned route crosses northern Utah, and Northern Nevada. Construction began on July 31, 2010, and the estimated completion is Spring 2011. The pipe is 680 miles (1,090 km) long and is expected to output 1.5 billion cubic feet per day.
