Sesea was an ancient maritime kingdom or nation located on the Somali peninsula in the land of Aromatics. According to Cosmas Indicopleustes an ancient inscription known as Monumentum Adulitanum by an anonymous King of Adulis, boasting of bringing peace to the world by way of conquest, details he had fought the Seseans and subdued them after engaging them on a high ground, and afterwards returned to them their country on a tributary basis.
