Simply Hired is a metasearch engine for job listings (thus also an example of vertical search) and online recruitment advertising network. The company aggregates job listings from thousands of sites across the Web including job boards, newspaper and classified listings, associations, social networks, content sites and company career sites. It then distributes those jobs on SimplyHired.com, and its 5,000 social network, media content, blog, and niche website partners. Advertisers can gain premium placement across its network through advertising in a pay-per-click (PPC) model. Job seekers search job listings on SimplyHired.com by keyword and location to find jobs of interest. Clicking a job title will take the user directly to the source site with the full job description and instructions for applying. Simply Hired currently operates job search engines in 17 countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Switzerland, China, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
