Steven John Lindsey Croft (known as Steve; born 1957) is an open evangelical Church of England clergyman and theologian specialising in mission. He is the seventh Bishop of Sheffield following his enthronement in Sheffield Cathedral on 9 May 2009, having been consecrated by the Archbishop of York on Sunday 25 January 2009. Previously he was Archbishops’ Missioner and Team Leader of Fresh Expressions, a joint Church of England - Methodist initiative.
