WXJ39 (sometimes referred to al Providence All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the Providence metropolitan area and surrounding areas as well as part of the Boston metropolitan area. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in Taunton, Massachusetts with its transmitter located at Johnston, Rhode Island. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for Providence, Kent, Bristol, Newport, & Washington counties in Rhode Island and Bristol & Norfolk counties in Massachusetts.
