The Rt Rev Ambrose Walter Marcus Weekes, CB FKC was an eminent Anglican Priest in the last quarter of the 20th century. He was born on 25 April 1919 and educated at King’s College, London. After ordination he was a wartime Chaplain with the RNVR then rose through the Service to become Chaplain of the Fleet after which he was Dean of Gibraltar and then its inaugural Suffragan Bishop.
