Bessacarr (pronounced /ˈbɛsəkər/) is a large village, located in the south-east of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It is one of the most affluent areas in the region. Due, in part, to its respected reputation, Bessacarr has expanded hugely since the Second World War, and is now one of the largest villages in the country. Its population was 19,803 at the 2001 census.
