Capnophiles are microorganisms which thrive in the presence of high concentrations of carbon dioxide, or which require the presence of carbon dioxide to survive but require low concentration of oxygen. Such condition can be found at intestinal tract, respiratory tract, and other tissue which pathogen can grow.
