The Order Conulata were Paleozoic sessile invertebrates. They lived from the Cambrian to the Triassic and had a conical shape. Their exterior surface was made of a flexible test of calcium phosphate rods connected with a chitinophosphatic material. They were associated with many groups such as Mollusca and Hemichordata, but now are associated most closely with the Scyphozoa, or the ”True Jellyfish″.
