draftage (uncountable)

(Australia, historical) A fee charged on a small proportion of the dry weight of certain types of goods being shipped.
- 1949, Australia. Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics, The Australian Mineral Industry: Economic Notes and Statistics (page 82)
  Payment for ores and concentrates, etc. — A deduction of 1 per cent. is made from the net dry weight of all fine materials as draftage.
