inclusion map (複数形 inclusion maps)

1. (mathematics) A function between two sets ${\displaystyle A}$ and ${\displaystyle B}$, with the former being a subset of the latter, that maps elements from ${\displaystyle A}$ to the corresponding elements of ${\displaystyle B}$ (${\displaystyle \iota :A\to B,\iota (x)=x}$).
