ウィキペディア英語版からの引用

引用: Parava or Paravar (பரவர்), also known as Parathavar (Paradavar) (பரதவர்), Bharathar (பரதர்), Bharathakula Pandyar (பரதகுல பாண்டியர்) or Bharathakula Kshathriyar (பரதகுல சத்ரியர்) is a caste in southern India that in ancient times were subordinate chiefs and coastal fishermen, as well as, according at least to one modern writer, "ferocious soldiers". There are many theories as to their origins but they have since ancient times been recorded in the area of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Myth has it that they are the descendants of the Lunar Dynasty (Chandravanshi).
