Saligramam (Tamil: சாலிகிராமம்) is a residential locality situated in the western part of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located next to Vadapalani and before Virugambakkam. Saligramam is a famous area in Cine Industry. Prasad Studio, Arunachalam Studio, Prasad Cine Labs and other cine production houses and rerecording theatres are located here. Most Cine personalities and workers are resided over them. SSR Pankajam is famous cine theatre. Suriya Hospital & Barani hospital are the leading hospitals in Chennai located here. Arunachalam Road is the major road with leading Banks, ATMs, Commercial Complexs, major shops, famous Peas and groundnut shop located next to Suriya hospital, hotels and restaurants.
