SemGroup (NYSE: SEMG) is a company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma that is involved in the transport of oil and natural gas from refineries to end users as well as the manufacture and sale of asphalt. As of 2007, it was the 18th largest private company in the US, but filed for bankruptcy in 2008. As of December 2009, the company had restructured and emerged from bankruptcy at a reduced size.
