The manor of Stydd is in the county of Lancashire. It is situated on the north eastern edge of the village of Ribchester. It boasts three notable buildings: Firstly St Saviour's Church. The Church's founding is obscure but it was well established by the time of the Knights Templars or Knights Hospitallers with whom it is most closely associated. The Church is presently joined with Saint Wilfrid's in Ribchester and is open for worship during the summer.
