Article 21-2 (1) If any of the documents specified in the items of Article 25(1) (excluding Article 25(1)(v) and (ix)) (hereinafter referred to as the "Documents" in this Article) contains any fake statement on important matters or lacks a statement on important matters that should be stated or on a material fact that is necessary for avoiding misunderstanding, the person who submitted the document shall be held liable to compensate a person who, during the period when the document was made available for public inspection as required by Article 25(1), acquires the Securities issued by the person who submitted the document (excluding the documents specified in Article 25(1)(xii)) or by the person whose Parent Company, etc. (meaning Parent Company, etc. as defined by Article 24-7(1)) is the person having submitted the document (limited to the documents specified in Article 25(1)(xii)) not through Public Offering or Secondary Distribution for damage arising from the fake statement or lack of a required statement (hereinafter collectively referred to as a "Fake Statement, etc." in this Article), to the extent not exceeding the amount calculated according to the same rule as provided in Article 19(1); provided, however, that this shall not apply when the person who acquires the Securities had known of the existence of a Fake Statement, etc. at the time of the acquisition.

(3) Where the Minister of Finance and the minister having jurisdiction over the business have received a notification pursuant to the provision of paragraph 1, when he/she finds it necessary to examine whether or not the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. pertaining to the notification falls under the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. that is likely to cause any of the following situations (limited to the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. with a non-resident whose state is a member state of a multilateral treaty or other international agreement on the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc., which is specified by Cabinet Order and to which Japan has acceded (hereinafter referred to as the "Treaty, etc." in this paragraph), and which is free from the obligations pursuant to the Treaty, etc. in regard to removal of restrictions on the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc., and the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. with a non-resident whose state is a state other than member states to the Treaty, etc. which would be free from the obligations if the state was a member state of the Treaty, etc. (referred to as the "Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. pertaining to National Security, etc." in paragraphs 4 and 5)), he/she may extend the period in which the Conclusion of a Technology Introduction Contract, etc. pertaining to the notification shall not be conducted up to four months from the day of acceptance of the notification.

Article 4 (1) Where a person who has obtained approval set forth in Article 10, Article 11, paragraph 1, Article 12, paragraph 1 or Article 13, paragraph 1 of the Act on Foreign Capital prior to its abolition by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Old Foreign Capital Act") (including approval pursuant to these provisions which are deemed to remain in force pursuant to the provision of the next paragraph) intends to commit, after the enforcement of this Act, a transaction or act that shall be committed in compliance with the approval, which is the transaction or act listed in Article 20, item 2, 4 or 5 or the items of Article 26, paragraph 2 (excluding items 2 and 5) of the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Control Act revised by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act") or the transaction or act prescribed in Article 29, paragraph 1 of the New Act, the provisions of the New Act (excluding the provisions of Article 16 and Article 21, paragraph 2) shall apply, deeming that the notification prescribed in Article 22, paragraph 1, Article 26, paragraph 3 or Article 29, paragraph 1 has been given and that the period in which transactions or acts prescribed in Article 23, paragraph 1, Article 26, paragraph 4 or Article 29, paragraph 3 shall not be conducted has elapsed.
第四条 この法律による廃止前の外資に関する法律(以下「旧外資法」という。)第十条、第十一条第一項、第十二条第一項又は第十三条第一項の認可(次項の規定によりなお効力を有するものとされるこれらの規定による認可を含む。)を受けたものが、この法律の施行後において、当該認可を受けたところに従つて行う取引又は行為であつて、この法律による改正後の外国為替及び外国貿易管理法(以下「新法」という。)第二十条第二号、第四号若しくは第五号若しくは第二十六条第二項各号(第二号及び第五号を除く。)に掲げる取引若しくは行為又は新法第二十九条第一項に規定する取引若しくは行為を行おうとする場合には、新法第二十二条第一項、第二十六条第三項又は第二十九条第一項に規定する届出については当該届出がされたものと、新法第二十三条第一項、第二十六条第四項又は第二十九条第三項に規定する取引又は行為を行つてはならない期間については当該期間を経過したものとみなして、新法の規定(第十六条及び第二十一条第二項の規定を除く。)を適用する。 - 日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム
Article 3 Any person who is actually the official of the former Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Construction or Ministry of Home Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Office/Ministry" in this Article) at the time of enforcement of this Act (excluding the president or chairperson and members of a council, etc. set forth in Article 8 of the National Administrative Organization Act (Act No. 120 of 1948), members of the Central Disaster Prevention Council, chairperson and members of the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, and those specified by Cabinet Order as similar thereto) shall be the corresponding official of the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, or the Ministry of the Environment after the enforcement of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Office/Ministry" in this article) or a department or organization thereunder, which is specified by Cabinet Order as the New Office/Ministry or a department or organization thereunder that corresponds to the Former Office/Ministry or a department or organization thereunder to which the official actually belongs at the time of enforcement of this Act, unless a letter of appointment is otherwise issued.
第三条 この法律の施行の際現に従前の総理府、法務省、外務省、大蔵省、文部省、厚生省、農林水産省、通商産業省、運輸省、郵政省、労働省、建設省又は自治省(以下この条において「従前の府省」という。)の職員(国家行政組織法(昭和二十三年法律第百二十号)第八条の審議会等の会長又は委員長及び委員、中央防災会議の委員、日本工業標準調査会の会長及び委員並びに これらに類する者として政令で定めるものを除く。)である者は、別に辞令を発せられない限り、同一の勤務条件をもって、この法律の施行後の内閣府、総務省、法務省、外務省、財務省、文部科学省、厚生労働省、農林水産省、経済産業省、国土交通省若しくは環境省(以下この条において「新府省」という。)又はこれに置かれる部局若しくは機関のうち、この法律の施行の際現に当該職員が属する従前の府省又はこれに置かれる部局若しくは機関の相当の新府省又はこれに置かれる部局若しくは機関として政令で定めるものの相当の職員となるものとする。 - 日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム
(2) Out of the performance in kind prescribed in the preceding paragraph, in-home care services, the furnishing of welfare equipment, facility care services, care prevention services and the furnishing of welfare equipment for care prevention shall be provided by way of entrusting such assistance to a long-term care provider (which means a person who provides in-home care services as his/her business, a person who prepares in-home care support plans as his/her business, a person who sells specified welfare equipment prescribed in Article 8, paragraph (13) of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act as his/her business [referred to as a "specified welfare equipment dealer" in Article 54-2, paragraph (1)], a community-based long-term care welfare facility for the elderly, a long-term care welfare facility for the elderly, a long-term care health facility for the elderly, a person who provides care prevention services as his/her business, a community comprehensive support center, or a person who sells specified welfare equipment for care prevention prescribed in Article 8-2, paragraph (13) of the same Act as his/her business [referred to as a "specified care prevention welfare equipment dealer" in Article 54-2, paragraph (1)]; the same shall apply hereinafter) who has been designated pursuant to the provisions of Article 54-2, paragraph (1) (including a community-based long-term care welfare facility for the elderly or a long-term care welfare facility for the elderly that is deemed to have received the designation under paragraph (1) of the same Article pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (2) of the same Article).
2 前項に規定する現物給付のうち、居宅介護、福祉用具の給付、施設介護、介護予防及び介護予防福祉用具の給付は、介護機関(その事業として居宅介護を行う者及びその事業として居宅介護支援計画を作成する者、その事業として介護保険法第八条第十三項に規定する特定福祉用具販売を行う者(第五十四条の二第一項において「特定福祉用具販売事業者」という。)、地域密着型介護老人福祉施設、介護老人福祉施設及び介護老人保健施設、その事業として介護予防を行う者及び地域包括支援センター並びにその事業として同法第八条の二第十三項に規定する特定介護予防福祉用具販売を行う者(第五十四条の二第一項において「特定介護予防福祉用具販売事業者」という。)をいう。以下同じ。)であつて、第五十四条の二第一項の規定により指定を受けたもの(同条第二項の規定により同条第一項の指定を受けたものとみなされた地域密着型介護老人福祉施設及び介護老人福祉施設を含む。)にこれを委託して行うものとする。 - 日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム

Article 11 (1) The alien shall apply to the mayor or the head of the city, town or village where he/she resides, within 30 days of the fifth anniversary (in the case of the alien being a permanent resident or a special permanent resident on the day on which the initial or other registration was made, it shall be the seventh anniversary) of the alien's birthday (where his/her birthday falls on February 29, it shall be deemed as February 28) commencing from the year in which the registration under Article 4, paragraph (1) (in cases where the confirmation was made under Article 6, paragraph (3), Article 6-2, paragraph (4), or Article 7, paragraph (3), based on the application under this paragraph or the next paragraph, (in paragraph (3), this confirmation is referred to as "the latest confirmation") is to mean the day on which the latest confirmation was made. In this paragraph, this day is referred to as "the day on which the initial or other registration was made), by submitting the documents and photographs specified in the following items, for confirmation of whether the entries in the registration card correspond to the actual facts. (5) The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may modify the employment insurance rate, after consulting the Labor Policy Council and by setting a definite term of one year or less, within the scope of fifteen point five one-thousandth (15.5/1000) to twenty-three point five one-thousandth (23.5/1000) inclusive (or seventeen point five one-thousandth (17.5/1000) to twenty-five point five one-thousandth (25.5/1000) inclusive in case of the businesses prescribed in the proviso to the preceding paragraph (excluding the businesses listed in item (iii) of the same paragraph), or eighteen point five one-thousandth (18.5/1000) to twenty-six point five one-thousandth (26.5/1000) inclusive in case of the businesses listed in the same item) if, in every fiscal year, the amount obtained by increasing or decreasing the reserve fund of the employment account under the labor insurance special account (in paragraph (7) referred to as the "reserve fund") at the end of such fiscal year, by the difference between the aggregate of the amount of the collected insurance premiums and the amount of the state contributions prescribed by Article 66, paragraphs (1), (2) and (5) and Article 67 of the Employment Insurance Act, and the amount of the benefits for unemployment, etc. paid pursuant to the provisions of the same Act (hereinafter referred to as the "amount of benefits for unemployment, etc." in this paragraph) comes to exceed the amount equal to twice of the amount of benefits for unemployment, etc. for such fiscal year, or fall below the amount equal to such amount of benefits for unemployment, etc., and the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare finds it necessary.
5 厚生労働大臣は、毎会計年度において、徴収保険料額並びに雇用保険法第六十六条第一項、第二項及び第五項並びに第六十七条の規定による国庫の負担額の合計額と同法の規定による失業等給付の額(以下この項において「失業等給付額」という。)との差額を当該会計年度末における労働保険特別会計の雇用勘定の積立金(第七項において「積立金」という。)に加減した額が、当該会計年度における失業等給付額の二倍に相当する額を超え、又は当該失業等給付額に相当する額を下るに至つた場合において、必要があると認めるときは、労働政策審議会の意見を聴いて、一年以内の期間を定め、雇用保険率を千分の十五・五から千分の二十三・五まで(前項ただし書に規定する事業(同項第三号に掲げる事業を除く。)については千分の十七・五から千分の二十五・五まで、同号に掲げる事業については千分の十八・五から千分の二十六・五まで)の範囲内において変更することができる。 - 日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム

Article 42-2 (1) A Municipality, when an Insured Person Requiring Long-Term Care received from a person designated by the mayor of said Municipality (herein referred to as "Designated Community-Based Service Provider") a Community-Based Service from a provider that performs Community-Based Service Business pertaining to said designation (herein referred to as "Designated Community-Based Service"), shall pay to said Insured Person Requiring Long-Term Care an Allowance for Community-Based Long-Term Care Service with regard to the expenses required for said Designated Community-Based Service (except for expenses necessary to provide meals, residence, and other expenses as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare as necessary for daily life with regard to the expenses required for Outpatient Long-Term Care for a Dementia Patient, Multifunctional Long-Term Care in a Small Group Home, Communal Daily Long-Term Care for a Dementia Patient, Daily Life Long-Term Care for a Person Admitted to a Community-Based Specified Facility, and Admission to a Community-Based Facility for Preventive Daily Long-Term Care of the Elderly Covered by Public Aid; hereinafter the same shall apply in this Article), however, provided that this provision shall not apply when said Insured Person Requiring Long-Term Care receives Community-Based Service other than the type pertaining to said designation in a case said Insured Person is issued a designation pursuant to the provision of Article 37, paragraph (1).

Article 3 (1) Any person who is the owner, manager, or occupier (hereinafter referred to as the "Owner, etc.") of the site of a plant or workplace pertaining to a Specified Facility (hereinafter referring to a Specified Facility provided in paragraph (2) of Article 2 of the Water Pollution Control Act (Act No. 138 of 1970) (referred to as "Specified Facility" in the following paragraph) and in which any of the substances listed in item (i) of paragraph (2) of the said Article (limited to Designated Hazardous Substances), the use of which has been abolished, and who has installed the Specified Facility or has received a notification by the prefectural governor pursuant to the following paragraph, shall have a person designated by the Minister of Environment conduct an investigation of the situation of contamination of the soil of the land by Designated Hazardous Substances in the manner provided in the Ordinance of the Ministry of the Environment, and shall report its results to the governor. However, the forgoing requirement shall not apply to any person who has received confirmation by the governor, as provided in the Ordinance of the Ministry of the Environment, that there are no threats on the said site for its scheduled use that no harmful effects on human health will be caused by the soil contamination by Designated Hazardous Substances.

In this case, said notification shall be deemed to be a report which was made pursuant to the provisions of the main clause of the same paragraph on the day of making said inward direct investment, etc.

The Office shall be entitled to proceed in accordance with the preceding paragraph if there exists a doubt as to whether the mark may be contrary to public policy or accepted principles of morality. 2. The request referred to in paragraph 1 must be countersigned by any person who benefit from a real right entered in the Register. Sec.59 Changes in Patents 59.1. Sec.67 Patent Application by Persons not Having the Right to a Patent 67.1. Any application comprising more than five claims, independent and/or multiple/alternative dependent claims at the time of filing, or added claims after the filing date in respect of each claim over and above five incurs payment of a claims fee. The claims fee shall be payable within one month after the filing of the application. If the claim fees have not been paid in due time, they may still be validly paid within a grace period of one month from notice pointing out the failure to observe the time limit. The court may, on request, issue the injunction referred to in paragraph 2 as an interlocutory injunction without hearing the alleged infringer, if the urgency of the case of necessity requires that. The injunction remains in force until ordered otherwise. After the injunction is issued, the alleged infringer must without delay be provided an opportunity to be heard. When the alleged infringer has been heard, the court must decide without delay whether to keep the injunction in force or withdraw it.
