従来の主張や既存の加工法に反し、ＰＡＮホモポリマーも含んで、非常に高いニトリル含量（アクリロニトリル９６〜１００重量％）のポリマーを、熱力学的な融点である３２０℃よりかなり下の温度で、いかなる溶媒や可塑剤の助けを借りることなく、連続押出し加工をすることが可能であり、それにより成形物品を作ることを可能とする。 - 特許庁
