Data Foundry, founded in 1994 as Texas.net, was the first Internet Service Provider in San Antonio and one of the first 50 Internet Service Providers in the United States. As a data center services provider with facilities in Austin and Houston, Texas, Data Foundry also provides services for data center outsourcing, disaster recovery and IP solutions. Operating since 1997, its Houston Data Center (HDC1) offers secure colocation and IP solutions. Since 2003, Data Foundry operates Austin Data Center 1 (ADC1) which is a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m²) colocation facility located in Austin, Texas.
