KlingStubbins is an architectural, engineering, interior, and planning firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kling's firm was founded in 1946 by Vincent Kling, FAIA, and had grown to become the largest architecture firm in Philadelphia, and one of the largest in the world. The Stubbins Group was founded by Hugh A. Stubbins, FAIA, in 1949. In January 2007 Kling and Stubbins merged to form "KlingStubbins." Kling's expertise was in research labs and commercial space, but it had designed projects in a large variety of building types and uses. Stubbins had designed several notable and historic buildings, and worked with noted Philadelphia city planner Edmund Bacon.
