"display"は、物や情報を見せる、見やすいように配置するという意味で使われる。特に、商品や情報を見やすく配置する場合によく使われる。

"exhibit"は、主に美術品や歴史的な物を公開する、展示するという意味で使われる。博物館や美術館などで使われる表現である。
