Amyntaio (also Amydeo, Greek: Αμύνταιο, Bulgarian: Суровичево) is a town and municipality in the Florina peripheral unit of Macedonia, Greece. The population of Amyntaio proper is 4,407, while that of the entire municipality is 18,975 (2001). Amyntaio station is a railway junction, where the line to Kozani branches off from the Platy-Florina main line.
