Austin Ford (1857 – September 17, 1896) was an Irish-American publisher. He was editor of the New York Freeman's Journal and the Catholic Register, and was associated with the Irish World, run by his uncle Patrick Ford. As such, he was active in promoting the cause of Irish independence. He was appointed as a fire commissioner of New York City by Mayor Strong, and died in office September 17, 1896. He was a relative of Ita Ford.
