Eranholi is a census town near Thalassery in Kannur district in the state of Kerala, India, and located on Tellichery Mysore high way nearest town is Thalassery. Manakkadan Kunhambu Gurikkal, son of Eranholi nattupramani Punnathur Manakkadan Raman, was born in Eranholi in the malayalam year ME-1001 (AD-1784). He conducted a kathakali yogam in Erannholi to practice kathakali belong to the students of thiyya community.. He died from Eranholi in the malayalam year ME-1077 ( A.D-1902). Eranholi is the birthplace of prominent Mappila singer Eranholi Moosa. The College of Engineering, Thalassery is located at Kundoormala, a hilly area near Eranholi.
