Gabriel Johnson is a jazz trumpet virtuoso from Boston, now living in Los Angeles, California who uses electronic rhythms in his music. Having listened to jazz since his childhood he graduated of Boston’s New England Conservatory in 2004. He was musical director for Blood, Sweat & Tears when he was 24 years old and has performed with Gladys Knight, Jill Scott, Sting, Chris Botti, Paula Cole, Burt Bacharach, Lyle Lovett, Keb Mo and performed trumpet solos on the soundtracks to Clint Eastwood's films Changeling (2008) and Invictus (2009) His album Fra_ctured was released on Grammy-nominated producer Carmen Rizzo's Electrofone Music label in 2010.
