Hindeloopen (West Frisian: Hylpen; Hindeloopen Frisian: Hielpen [ˈhiːəlpən]) is an old city on the North of the Netherlands on the IJsselmeer. It lies within the municipality of Nijefurd. It is famous because of the Hindeloopen art and hindeloopen costume.
