KWO35 (sometimes referred to as New York City All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the New York metropolitan area and surrounding cities in the Tri-State Region and can be heard 40 miles off the coastline. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in New York City with its transmitter located on top of the GE Building. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Rockland, Richmond, and Westchester counties in New York; plus Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties in New Jersey; as well as Fairfield County in Connecticut.
