Lily Vanilli (a.k.a. Lily Jones, born 21 March 1982) is a British baker, author and entrepreneur. Based in east London, she is known for her creative, unconventional designs, specializing in the realm of hand-made cake sculpting. She has been named 'baker to the stars’ after catering for events such as Elton John’s white tie and tiara ball and with clients such as Lulu Guinness, Nigella Lawson and Hello Kitty. More recently, she has been selling cakes, brownies and patisserie at Harrods food hall in London. In 2009 Lily topped the Courvoisier list of the future 500 entrepreneurs and was featured on the cover of the Observer magazine. Lily Vanilli is a promoter of the use of fair trade ingredients in baking, and supports the Fairtrade Foundation and various Fairtrade brands.
