Matthew Thomas "Matt" Hamshaw (born 1 January 1982) is an English professional footballer who is currently playing for Macclesfield Town. He has previously played for Sheffield Wednesday, Stockport County, Mansfield Town and Notts County. He usually plays on the right side of midfield. He was released by Mansfield in May 2008 and signed for Notts County on a two-year contract on 27 June. He is married to Kerry, and they have a daughter, Isabella, born in 2008. Their son Liam, born in 2007, was stillborn.
