Maynard Pirsig (1902-1997) was an American legal scholar an academic. Educated at the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Law School, he was Professor and Dean of Law at Minnesota from 1948 to 1955. He was later Professor of Law at the William Mitchell College of Law. He had one of the longest careers of any legal academic.
